Don’t worry Seagull #IR got you covered, it gives control of your cameras shutter via infrared commands.
#IR will work with Sony, Nikon, Canon and Olympus cameras that are able to be triggered by an infrared remote.
NOTE: Seagull #IR will work with all cameras listed – no matter which model your order it for !

I’ve got #IR for my Sony NEX-5R two days ago. In short terms: it’s work just fine. You can view some test shots in my blog: http://jumpingrat.livejournal.com/340005.html
First attempt of connection to output port of flight controller (wich is CUAV Pixhack) was a bit messy, but it was only my own fault: pixhack has so called “Safety button”, which successfully prevent arming and cut of any signal from output ports before long pressed. So, when i’ve connected #IR as shown in manual and powered all system, i’ve got only blinking red – “no signal”. Now it’s sounds funny, but i spent two hours trying to resolve this, before realized this stupid mistake, haha! After this it’s works simply as described. Tested it in sky in sunny day – any problems, camera triggered as planned.
